New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December, and this is our club-by-club guide to New Year's Eve clubbing in London: which clubs open, how NYE tables and the guestlist work at each one, what the night costs and how to get home. Most of London's best-known clubs had not published their NYE 2026 plans as of October 2026, so we say plainly what is confirmed and what is not, and we update this guide as each club announces.
The short version: on New Year's Eve the Mayfair and Soho clubs sell entry mostly by table, the guestlist is limited, and the best way in is to book a table. The best tables go to the groups who commit first. If you want a table, send us your group size, the number of guys and girls and your budget on WhatsApp, and we will send each club's NYE table plan as soon as it is released.
How NYE tables work in London clubs
New Year's Eve is the most expensive night of the year in Mayfair and Soho, and it runs differently from a normal Saturday:
- Higher minimum spends. Each club sets its own NYE minimums per table and per position, and they are higher than its normal-night prices. The "tables from" figures below are normal nights (as of October 2026), so treat them as a floor, not a quote.
- A deposit secures the table. NYE tables are secured with a deposit, usually 20% to 50% of the minimum spend depending on the venue.
- Arrival windows. Tables are released if a group arrives late. Plan to be seated by 11pm, well before midnight.
- Fixed group sizes. A table for eight means eight, and some doors expect a balanced group.
Tape London on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; Tape opens that night and tables should be booked early. Tape, at 17 Hanover Square in Mayfair, normally opens on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, opens for New Year's Eve as well, and it is the club we are asked about most for the night. Tables start from £750 minimum spend on a normal night; NYE minimums are set by the club and are higher. Friday 1 January 2027 is a normal Tape night too, if your group wants a second night, and Little Tape next door carries on from 3am to 5:30am that night. Cirque le Soir on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; Cirque le Soir opens that night and tables should be booked early. The Soho circus club on Ganton Street normally opens on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, finishes at 3:45am and is 18+ (21+ at weekends). Tables start from £800 on a normal night. Friday 1 January is one of its usual nights, so it works as a second night out. See our Cirque le Soir NYE 2026 page.
Maddox on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; Maddox opens that night and tables should be booked early. The Mayfair club on Mill Street is 20+, closes at 6am and has tables from £1,000 on a normal night. Tables at the best positions go first, so start early: our Maddox NYE 2026 page explains how.
The Box Soho on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; The Box opens that night and tables should be booked early. The Box has no guestlist, so entry is by table, with tables from £1,000 on a normal night. It opens at 11pm and closes at 4am, and it is known for its late-night shows. Selene on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; Selene opens that night and tables should be booked early. Selene is at 4 Winsley Street in Fitzrovia, a short walk from Oxford Circus, in the space Libertine used to occupy. It runs from 11pm to 4am, has private bowling lanes you can book with a table, and has tables from £800 on a normal night. Book through our Selene table booking page.
Rumour (formerly Tabu) on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; Rumour opens that night and tables should be booked early. Rumour, the Mayfair club at 1 Dover Street that used to be Tabu, is 18+ and built around red velvet booths, from £1,000 minimum spend on a normal night. On normal nights ladies can join the guestlist and men book a booth; NYE door policy is confirmed when you book. It has a strict no-photography policy. See Rumour table booking.
99 Regent Street (formerly Cuckoo Club) on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; 99 Regent Street opens that night and tables should be booked early. The club that replaced the Cuckoo Club, with its entrance on Swallow Street, is 19+ with physical photo ID and has tables from £600 on a normal night, across two floors at weekends. Reign on NYE
New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; Reign opens that night and tables should be booked early. The showclub at 215-217 Piccadilly closes at 4am, and tables start from £800 on a normal night. See Reign table booking.
More clubs for New Year's Eve
- The Scotch of St James: opens that night (NYE is a Thursday, one of its usual nights). It is walk-in only with no guestlist and closes at 5am. Scotch table booking.
- Dear Darling Mayfair: opens that night. 91 Jermyn Street, 18+, closes at 6am, tables from £800 on a normal night. Dear Darling table booking.
- Itzel: opens that night. Berkeley Street, Mayfair, at the address Funky Buddha and Luxx once used, with tables from £500 on a normal night. Itzel table booking.
- Mistress of Mayfair: opens that night. 48 St James's Street, with Thursday tables from £500 on a normal Thursday. Mistress of Mayfair table booking.
- KOKO: the Camden club usually programmes a late NYE night; NYE 2026 had not been announced as of October 2026. Entry is by table, from £1,500. KOKO table booking.
- Ministry of Sound: no guestlist; tables plus event tickets. Its NYE 2026 line-up had not been announced as of October 2026. Ministry of Sound table booking.
- Inca London and Maya: Inca, at 8-9 Argyll Street, is a restaurant with a dinner show and DJs; Maya, the club beneath it (formerly Luna), normally opens on Friday and Saturday, so ask us about NYE. Inca table booking.
The guestlist on New Year's Eve
On New Year's Eve the guestlist is limited, and the best way in is to book a table. The Box, The Scotch of St James, BEAT and Ministry of Sound have no guestlist at all. For a group of guys, a table is the only reliable way in.

Fabric and Egg London usually run all-night NYE parties into New Year's Day morning; neither had announced NYE 2026 as of early October 2026.
Fireworks, the Tube and getting home
The Mayor of London's fireworks run from 8pm on Thursday 31 December to 12.30am, and you cannot get in without a ticket. The official London New Year's Eve 2026 page says the first batch of tickets is on sale now through Ticketmaster, the only official seller, with a second batch to follow. Fireworks and clubbing do not mix easily, so most of our table groups pick one; our guide to catching the firework show covers the viewing side.
TfL had not published its NYE 2026 plans as of October 2026. For NYE 2025, Time Out's travel round-up reported the Tube and DLR running all night, with stations near the river closing or going exit only through the evening, including Charing Cross from 6pm, Westminster from 9.30pm, and Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus from 11.30pm. If your club is in the West End, plan a route to a station further from the river. Black cabs add £4 to metered fares between 8pm on 31 December and 6am on 2 January, and ride-hailing apps surge after midnight.
New Year's Day 2027: Friday 1 January
Because NYE falls on a Thursday, New Year's Day is a Friday and a bank holiday. That makes Friday 1 January a strong second night: Tape and Cirque le Soir normally open on Fridays, Little Tape runs from 3am to 5:30am on Friday and Saturday, and Maya opens on Friday too. Some groups book a table on NYE and keep Friday or Saturday 2 January for a second night out.
