Hix Soho has closed. Mark Hix's restaurant at 66-70 Brewer Street, Soho, closed in December 2019, so its tables can no longer be booked through London Night Guide or anyone else.

What Hix was like
For reference only, as none of this applies any more: Hix opened in late 2009 as Mark Hix's Soho flagship, a busy wood-panelled room hung with work by Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin. The kitchen cooked seasonal British food, from free-range chicken to share and smoked salmon with soda bread to hanger steak with bone marrow, with seafood and foraged vegetables among the specials. Mark's Bar in the basement served cocktails.
