Embassy has closed. The club at 29 Old Burlington Street, Mayfair, near Green Park, no longer operates, so its guestlist and tables can no longer be booked through London Night Guide or anyone else.
Where to go instead of Embassy
All are open and taking bookings through London Night Guide as of October 2026.
- Maddox on Mill Street, Mayfair: hip hop and house, open Thursday to Saturday.
- Rumour (formerly Tabu) at 1 Dover Street, Mayfair: one intimate room of about 200 built around booths, playing open format hip hop, RnB and house, Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am, 18+.
- Tape London at 17 Hanover Square, Mayfair: hip hop, RnB and Afrobeats, open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 99 Regent Street (formerly Cuckoo Club), entrance on Swallow Street, near Piccadilly Circus: two floors, with hip hop and RnB upstairs and house downstairs, Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am, 19+.
What Embassy was like
For reference only, as none of this applies any more: Embassy was a two-floor Mayfair club holding around 450 people, with DJs playing house and dance music and occasional live acts. The crowd was mostly young professionals and business people, weekend queues were long, and the door asked guests to dress to impress, smart casual at the least.
